The Fabian Society's Environmental Policy Network brings together political, policy, business, civil society and academic participants to discuss key themes in environmental politics and policy.

The network has existed since 2000, and the Fabian Society's work in this area has analysed and helped to inform the marked shift in priority given to environmental issues over this period.

The 2008 programme has already included contributions from Iain Wright on Ecotowns and Joan Ruddock on how Governments can encourage green behaviour.  The next network event will take place on Monday November 10th when Michael Jacobs - responsible for the environment and energy in the Prime Minister's Policy Directorate - will consider the future of environmental campaigning.  For more information about this event please contact Ian Chapman .

For further information about the network, or to discuss membership, please contact Jemima Olchawski , Events Director.
